So the video shoot went insanely well, and we will hopefully have the final cut in a couple of weeks. A massive thankyou to everyone at Bare productions and The Box for putting the time and effort in to make us look good.
The gig last night was amazing. Cheers to those who attended.
Also, good news on the recording front. We have cancelled the time in March in favour of a week in February! We'll be going down to the Rock Factory studio in London again to record with Frankie. We've recorded everything since the EP there, and it's like a second home to us now! We're really excited and have 3 absolutely massive new tracks for you guys that will no doubt see the light in some form or another over the course of the year!
So there you have it! It's 3.30 in the morning and I really need to get some Z's. It's the Superbowl tomorrow. LET'S GO STEELERS!
See you all soon.

VIDEO SHOOT
So, we are shooting a video tomorrow for our first single, 'An Ink Blot In A Blood Clot'. The song has been rotting on our MySpace for the best part of half a year, and it's about time we did something with it!
We're filming on location in Crewe from 11 o clock which means it'll be the first time I have seen the morning sun in a month. Ah, the life of a wannabe rockstar, eh? We'll be filming a kind of 'making of the video' feature that will find it's way onto YouTube once it's all nice and edited.
Suffice to say, we are all very stoked to be moving forward so quickly this year. We have studio time booked for March when we will be recording another 3 tracks to add to the catalogue of demos we began recording last year. We also have a gig at The Box on Friday in Crewe where we will be bringing out a few songs we haven't played in a while, and also some new ones that have not seen the light of day yet.
United are top of the league, and life is pretty peachy right now.
Stay classy.

Happy New Year
I hope that everybody had a superb Christmas and New Year. I've been working hard, and buying more guitars. In between pissing my money up the wall, of course!
We're currently in the process of looking for shows. Support slots mainly. We've had a few weeks off over the festive season due to Hawx contracting AIDS, but he is all better now, and we're going to be spreading our cheer all over Earth very soon. Writing will also be a huge priority early this year, which is exciting stuff! We have a lot of ideas we are working with, and it's shaping up to be quite something.
That's all really.
Oh yeah, I recorded my own version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. You can hear it over at www.myspace.com/bmpp. I was pissed off at hearing that X-Factor cunt butchering it all day on the radio, so I did some butchering of my own.
More band news to come.
Live long and prosper.

Welcome
Take off your coat, kick off your shoes. Perch yourself over by the fireplace, it's a bit nippy in here.
For some time there have been talks of creating a regularly updated blog to update you on the band, and well, anything we fancy writing about. Comrades, the day is upon us. We promise to entertain, and offend.
My desk is a complete state. On either side of my screen; empty bottles of Becks, BBQ sauce tubs, and a fair few used tissues. (Don't worry, they are happy tissues, not sad ones.) It's hard to gather my thoughts whilst sat in such disarray, but needs must, and I don't wish to disappoint on this, the first blog. But at the same time, I don't want to set the standard so high that future blogs pale in comparison.
Let's get to it, then. "Oh, Jono, what's going on with the band at the moment?"
Well, internet. We are writing and recording a plethora of songs, and the best ones will probably be released at some point next year. I won't lie to you, for I know you can tell when I'm lying. I don't know the specific ins and outs of our plans for next year. I know the year will be dominated by touring, and a couple of singles. But apart from that, it's going to be a spontaneous adventure for us all!
As for the rest of the year, we have a few local shows that you can catch us at. I recommend that you do just that. We are, after all, one of your five portions a day. We'll be showing off all of our new tunes, full of vitamins, love and goodness.
I love this time of year. The coca-cola advert with the convoy of lorries destroying the countryside with their exhaust fumes. But it's OK! They are covered in pretty lights. My advice to power plants all across the globe is to decorate the exterior funnels with adorable flashing neon bulbs. They'd melt the hearts of those pesky environmentalists faster than they are melting the polar ice caps. Other reasons for enjoying the festive period include Die Hard films shown on TV more frequently, and girls more willing to put out. True story.
We will keep this blog fairly regularly updated with ramblings and news as it comes in.
In the meantime, I need to get up and showered. It's 7.30pm. I can almost smell the pub from here. It's calling my name, and I will heed it's call. I think this is a pretty nice introduction to our blog. It's hard, but once I get going, it is probably the most satisfying thing in the world. That's what she said.
BA-ZING!
Take care, and I will address you soon.
